One last thing following this year’s Desert Games. Many of you increased your training volume and skill level in preparation for the Games. Most of you hit new PRs in your lifts and went further than you had before in unbroken reps completed and volume of work done in a day’s worth of workouts.
Now it’s up to you to decide just how far you want to go! Now that you have experienced a new level of performance within yourself and a new level of competition, it is on you to decide what you’d like to do with it. I would ask that you view this as an opportunity to use the Desert Games as a jumping off point to new higher levels of fitness and nutrition. Try not to fall back to where you were before all the training started. Don’t get too comfortable. Use this and gain from it. Take ownership of your new you and build!
