A Brief Review

Did you find yourself struggling with today’s Toes to Bar? Having trouble initiating the kip and generating momentum for a more efficient movement? Would you like to string multiple reps together with relative ease?

There’s a lot to the Toes to Bar movement. It requires a good amount of overall body strength and strength endurance, awareness of what your body is doing during the kipping phase and into the finished rep, proper body mechanics and positioning, and a good basic understanding of some foundational gymnastic movements.

A while back Andres and I made a video covering some key points of the Toes to Bar. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you should. If you haven’t seen it in a while, it could be a good review on some key points you may have forgotten about.
