IMPORTANT Announcements!

Our 6 week nutrition challenge kicks off this Wednesday. This might be the best timing possible to start a nutrition program, as soon as the 6 weeks ends the Open begins. This will be a great way to supplement your training and be as prepared as possible for this year’s Open.

The nutrition program offers 5 different choices of macronutrient settings to help you reach whatever specific goal you want. Each program will give you weekly and daily numbers for all of your protein, carbs, and fats. The program also gives a shopping list of good foods to keep at home as well as a sample day of meals. These plans do not lay out every meal and what exactly you need to eat, because the ultimate goal is to use this plan and adapt it to your lifestyle and your own unique likes and dislikes. In other words you will not be confined to having to eat chicken and rice everyday, it’s up to you to make your meals however you want as long as they fit your numbers.

We will take measurements and weight of those participating in the challenge during the warm-up period of each class on Wednesday. At the end of the 6 weeks, the coaches at CFLC will get together and decide the top 2 members who made the biggest change.

Top 2 members of the 6 Week Challenge will win a free pair of NIKE METCON 3s!

THE RAILYARD GAMES
The second annual railyard games will be taking place in Albuquerque April 7th, 8th and 9th. This looks like a really interesting event that takes place in the old railyard district and already has a ton of teams signed up with spots filling up fast! If you’d like to get a team together you can go to their website for more information
http://www.railyardgames.com/
Remember spots are filling up fast so decide and organize quickly! As a side note, I will not be helping with signing and organizing teams for this event like we did with the Desert Games.
