Well Put

I’m sure many of you saw this post today, because as soon as it was up it was reposted multiple times from different people. It’s a great little write up on effort and time spent working on your fitness and it couldn’t be more true. As soon as the time changes and the temperatures start to drop I see many of our members struggle to make it in to the gym. I’m not going to lie, there are days where it is hard to get up and get going especially when it’s cold and dark and motivation might be lacking.

Want to know the secret to staying consistent and crushing it in the gym?

The secret is that EVERYONE has those days, everyone has times in their life where it’s hard to focus on their health and fitness. You are not special or unique in feeling that way. From elite athlete to your average joe, everyone has hard days. The difference is that those that are successful, they recognize and acknowledge that feeling and still get their butts to the gym! Even if it is cold, or dark, or they’re not feeling motivated or inspired to workout, they still do it because they know the laziness and lack of motivation will pass and that their health is important to them. STOP MAKING EXCUSES and get moving! I promise you’ll feel so much better after the workout.
